Floor lamp designed by Carlo Scarpa and made by Venini Murano with spiral-blown segments in emerald green glass. These segments are entirely beaten and ground on the protruding parts with the wheels to create a decoration and emphasize the spiral with the play of light. The glass elements are interspersed with bronze discs, the glass base also completes the refined design of the lamp. The green color of the glass is characteristic of the high quality production and represents as a signature of the manufacture.Published in the Blu catalog of Venini in the 1940s ( picture of the catalog in the listing ), this lamp is an example of Scarpa’s incredible collaboration with Venini and of the sophisticated glass technique achieved in recent years by associating a modern and elegant design. Under the silk lampshade (new) there are 3 bulbs, 2 adjustable bulbs with independent swich button illuminate inside the lampshade, 1 bulb inside the metal diffuser cup produces indirect light and also illuminates this upwards with its own swich..It is therefore possible to turn on only the two lights in the lampshade, or only the indirect one inside the metal diffuser, but also all together. The diameter cm 55 in the description refers to the lampshade .The standing lamp requires 3 x E27 Standard bulbs and is compatible with the US / UK / etc. Standards. newly re wired for UE use.
